Hello! I’m Molly, the creator of Smiles+Light Candle Co. The company that brings the magic of smells, inspired by books, to your home. This company came about because of a fear, the fear of my apartment smelling like my cat’s litter box. I know, I know, crazy right? Well, it’s the truth.
Along with that fear, I have an extreme love of books and reading. When I get sucked into a book and the author describes the surrounding, I can almost smell the snowy mountains, the market with the air thick of spices, and the sandalwood off of the handsome stranger. I truly get transported. With the fear, my love of burning candles, and my obsession with books, Smiles+Light was created.
I aim to transport you with unique and enticing scents, which is why all candles are blended and poured by hand by me! This small shop (it’s just me and my fur baby, but she isn’t involved in any of the candle making processes) aims to deliver a quality product from the moment you enter this site to when your package arrives at your door. And when you light your candle? Be ready to be transported!
